Bio:
Ahmad Sa'di is a Palestinian social scientist, holding tenure at Ben Gurion University, Israel, and serving currently as visiting professor in the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Civilisations at the University of Toronto. He is the author of over fifty peer-reviewed articles and chapters, as well as three books, mainly in English, with translations in eight languages including German and Japanese. His work focuses on collective memory, surveillance, population management and political control, political sociology, the history of sociopolitical ideas, the Global South since independence, colonialism/postcolonialism, Israel/Palestine, as well as consciousness evolution and its articulation in culture.
